POSITION: Head - Human Resources
Summary of Job Purpose
Reporting to the Commissioner General, the Head – Human Resources will provide guidance and support in the management of the LRA Human Resources through the development and implementation of effective HR strategies and programs. This role requires significant strategic input and alignment of operations with strategic intent. The development of systems, policies and procedures, in support of strategic and business objectives, is also a key result area. Talent management, career and performance management as well as being a champion of change are also areas which form a major component of this job.
Competencies, experience, personal attributes and qualifications
The successful candidate will indisputably be driven by the urge to create unparalleled levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. This will be accompanied by the demonstrable ability to both lead and participate as a member of winning teams. At least ten years management experience is mandatory, of which five years must have been at a senior level. Unquestionable integrity coupled with exceptional people skills and a positive attitude are also key requirements.
In support of the foregoing, applicants will require a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
OR
A Degree in Human Resources Management plus postgraduate qualification in a related discipline.
