MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Accountant, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of all creditors and cashbook functions according to Company policy and procedures.

• 2-3 years experience in the relevant field

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Cashbook
Process all inscriptions with regard to banking and bank statements
Ensure that all invoices are authorised and that they state the correct information regarding VAT
Ensure that all necessary documents (invoices, orders, goods received notes and reconciliations) are attached to remittance advice prior to issuing cheque and that invoices have been costed and checked
Issuing of cheques / payments and processing of remittance advices
Processing of bank statement entries and sundry deposit slips.
Reconciliation of bank charges and the daily cash clearance account at month end.
File all remittance advices and supporting documentation in correct order.
File all cash book cheques and creditors cheques received from the bank.
Responsible for electronic banking, payment, transfer, stop payment for creditors, cash book and casino winnings (CATS)
Reconcile all cash book creditors statements monthly and follow up outstanding items on the reconciliation.
Assists with month end packs if requested
Extracting and printing statements for all Bank
Accounts.
Creditors
Ensure that all documents are sorted and matched correctly: follow up on outstanding documents before any batching is done, i.e. authorised purchase order requests, purchase orders, delivery notes, goods received notes.
Ensure that correct general ledger accounts and cost codes are captured into the computer, to avoid unnecessary journal entries.
Ensure that all invoice batches and printouts are filed after they have been checked and corrected where necessary.
Ensure that suppliers reconciliations are done on a monthly basis and sort out any queries arising
Print all month end reports and file them in relevant files.
Follow up all outstanding invoices on the reconciliation especially for month end purposes.
Balance pre-cheque register to General Ledger account
Print tax analysis monthly and file.
Perform any other duties that maybe assigned to do

Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Area Resident Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for identifying business opportunities, evaluating the industry market position, researching, analyzing and selling Avani products and maintaining relationships with clients.
Education, experience and competencies required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism/Sales & Marketing Management
2-3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
Relevant knowledge of the tourism market in Southern Africa and beyond
Understands the concept of distribution and have worked with travel agents and tour operators
Has knowledge of the global search engines and booking tools/devices
Understands the dynamics of rate structuring and yield management

Key Responsibility Areas:
Increases occupancy, conferences, events and other banqueting related functions
Assess the current local market and identifies potential markets that will be interested in the Lesotho
Tourism Products
Establishes relationships with all travel agents and tour operators
Visits current and potential clients on a regular basis
Attends trade shows and exhibitions whenever available
Liaise regularly with the Front Office Managers and Marketing Managers in terms of business requirements
Updates social media pages and other platforms that will be beneficial to both hotels
Identifies business opportunities prospects and evaluates their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining relevant on the industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

CORPORATE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CCEO)
Storm Mountain Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (SMD) operates a Kimberlite Diamond Mine at Kao in the Botha-Bothe district of Lesotho, with a corporate office in the Lesotho capital, Maseru.
SMD requires the full time services of a Corporate Chief Executive Officer (CCEO) who meets the minimum requirements stipulated below. The CCEO will report to the Chairman of the Board of
Directors of SMD.
Purpose of the position:
To lead, direct and assume overall responsibility for the management of the SMD Corporate office according to SMD’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Work in collaboration with the Operational CEO and the Board of Directors to determine SMD’s values, mission, vision, and goals, and communicate effectively to the Board on all relevant aspects.
• Ensure all aspects of the Mining Lease Agreement are complied with in terms of corporate requirements (administrative, legal, financial, stakeholder related).
• Manage the HR function of SMD so that the operations are adequately staffed. This includes the management of the localisation plan, succession management and HR development to enable the operations.
• Manage the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme by developing a suitable strategy and breaking it down in Long-, medium- and short term plans for execution.
• Represent SMD in all off -mine stakeholder engagements, including engagements with Government, mining industry forums, community forums, etc.
• Ensure short interval controls and reviews are in place in all areas of responsibility.
• Stay abreast of trends and changes in the Diamond and Mining industry, the business environment and legislation, in Lesotho and globally, and incorporate such influences in SMD’s corporate plans and activities.
• Assess and manage corporate risk.
• Ensure good governance and legal compliance relating to all corporate aspects.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Mining, Engineering, Geology, Finance, Legal)
MBA or equivalent (preferable)
Experience in diverse mining environments and / or other relevant business environments
Track record in leading multi-functional teams at Senior Management and Executive level
Diverse stakeholder management experience
