RECRUITMENT
The Authority seeks applications from qualified, competent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following vacant position within the organisation. The position is based in Maseru. The position requires good spoken and written Sesotho and English. A competitive and market-related remuneration package including non-contributory benefits is offered. A brief description of the position is provided below.
1. Registration Services Manager
Job Scope: The officer has responsibility for examining and registering deeds in accordance with the
Deeds Registry Act.
Key Result Areas:
• Proper maintenance and preservation of Deeds Registry records
• Timely examination of deeds and other documents submitted for execution or registration
• Effective supervision of Deeds Registry staff
• Preparation of accurate and timely operational and management reports
Qualifications/Knowledge:
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree
• Working knowledge of deeds registration law and practice in Lesotho or similar jurisdiction
Skills:
• Ability to apply deeds registration and real property law in the Lesotho context.
• Ability to interpret and apply deeds registration procedures
• Computer skills, especially in the use of office productivity, internet access and electronic communication software.
Experience:
At least three (3) year’s working experience in an organization responsible for deeds registration or application of real property law and related matters.
