Restless Development South Africa is recruiting for 3 Assistant Programme Coordinators to lead effective quality delivery of our European Commission-funded ‘Towards a more accountable South Africa: Placing young people and youth civil society at the centre of change for development in the Eastern Cape’ Project.
This is a 2-year project, to be implemented in the OR Tambo and Alfred Nzo Districts of the Eastern. The ‘Towards a more accountable South Africa’ project is an innovative collaborative action which will build an informed, unified and coordinated network of grassroots organisations focused on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR), linked to an empowered movement of young people in the Eastern Cape who will partner with state actors to improve implementation of ASRHR policies and effectively participate in core accountability structures relating to them.
Based in the target district, and with an emphasis on ensuring effective working relationships with our stakeholders, partner CSOs, volunteers and young people that we work with, the Assistant Programme Coordinators play a key role within our programmes team, responsible for the quality delivery of the ‘Towards a More Accountable South Africa’ Project.
The successful candidates will be will be practical, solution-focussed individuals, committed to delivering high quality programmes, ensuring that best practice and learning from colleagues and partners constantly informs our programme delivery on the ground. They will be dynamic, committed, experienced and passionate team members, able to coordinate and oversee programme set-up, delivery and monitoring, and to support our partner and volunteer-led programmes.
