Human Resources Business Partner: Talent Management and Rewards (Internal Advert)
We have an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): Talent Management and Rewards candidate who will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the organisation’s talent acquisition, development and retention policies, systems and procedures. This position will also be responsible and accountable for the implementation and management of the learning and development solutions in support of the business objectives and in alignment with international benchmarks. This position reports to the Human Resources (HR) Director and is based at our head office in Cape Town.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Design, implement and maintain talent acquisition, development and retention strategies, frameworks and practices
  • Manage the long, medium and short term resourcing plans. Identify/implement appropriate strategic and tactical sourcing strategies within time, cost and quality parameters
  • Design, deliver and manage the learning and development strategy and budget
  • Direct and ensure integration and alignment of strategies, processes and practices for talent acquisition, development and retention models
  • Support the HR Director in design, implementation and monitoring of organisational development interventions
  • Design and maintain performance management policies, processes and practices
  • Lead the design and development of the organisation’s leadership competency framework and leadership development interventions
  • Review and analyse business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Design, implement and maintain career path and succession planning frameworks, policies and practices to facilitate the retention of talent and internal succession
  • Partner with line managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential
  • Assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives
  • Oversee the organisational rewards management strategy
  • Provide leadership to the specialist team
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Registration as an Industrial Psychologist would be advantageous
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience HR environment, with at least 5 years in a learning and development environment
Competencies Required:
  • Knowledge and experience in performance management processes and methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of talent management models and frameworks
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential matters in a professional and ethical manner
  • Well-developed presentation, facilitation and decision making skills
  • The ability to influence and interface with senior members of the business
  • Employee relations, change management and team development experience
  • A fair understanding of employee benefits and reward management
  • A solid understanding of international labour law and an ability to undertake benchmarking exercises and assignments
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • A passion for the m2m vision and values
