Order Intake Supervisor / Logistics Controller
The role
The incumbent will be responsible forthe inbound and outbound logistics for parts / components and updating purchase order due dates in the operating system.The incumbentwill also be responsible for receiving and responding to customers enquiries and processing customer orders and enquiries in system.
This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining clients (internal and external) according to performance requirements & providing customers with feedback and accurate due dates for outstanding items
Your profile
- Qualified as Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (C.I.P.S)
- At least 5+ years’ working experience in Logistics / Sales.
- 3+ years supervisory experience with customer sales / logistics
- Knowledge and understanding of Computer System 21/ Aurora or similar ERP system
- Experience in mining / technical / engineering environment is added advantage
- Knowledge in warehouse management / logistics management / Supply chain management is essential
- A valid driver’s licence
- Must display Safety Leadership at all times
- 24-hour standby / call-out availability is required
- Prepared to work Saturday and Sunday when required
- Must be a Team player
- Exceptional People skills
- Exceptional Communication skills
