Jobs at American International School of Lesotho

The American International School of Lesotho is a Preschool-Grade 8, non-profit school that caters for the local and expatriate families in Maseru, who wish to give their children an American style education. The school is accredited with the Middles States Association in the United States. We are also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA).

Applications are now open for the following teaching positions commencing on the 8th August 2018;

Middle School Humanities / Social Studies and English Language Teacher
Middle School Mathematics and Science Teacher
Grade 1 Teacher

All candidates need to posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a specialist degree with follow up or post graduate studies in Education. All candidates must be familiar with the process of differentiated instruction and inquiry based learning models. Candidates with Master’s Degrees, experience working in international schools (preferably an American curriculum) and a working knowledge of AERO standards are preferred.
