Employment at World Vision Lesotho
World Vision Lesotho (WVL) was legally established in 1987, even though the Ministry dates as far back as 1976 when WV began child sponsorship in 2 primary schools under the auspices of WV South Africa. Between 1987 and 1995 WVL's model of development was through Community Development Programmes (CDPs). In 1987 with the support of the Methodist Church, as a local partner, a small coordination Office was established.
World Vision Lesotho currently has 17 Area Development Programmes (ADP's) that are implemented using the integrated holistic approach, Communities within these areas elect grassroots committees to add value and increase the impact on the well being of children. This is supported through two funding streams, namely Child Sponsorship and Grants ( Non Sponsorship).
