Specialist: M-Pesa

Vodacom Lesotho is seeking Specialist: M-pesa Marketing within Marketing Department. The Specialist: M-pesa Marketing   is responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring end to end go-to-market (GTM) plans for all m-pesa campaigns, activations, and coordinate all m-pesa corporate events working in close partnership with the m-pesa business unit and service points to drive awareness, excitement, and usage that delivers on business targets and marketing objectives. Successful candidate will also be expected to maintain the m-pesa brand and corporate identity as well as positioning the brand to drive consumer demand as part of the brand’s long-term strategy.
Key deliverables:
·  Compile comprehensive GTM plans for new and existing products to support business objectives and drive revenue.
·  Develop, coordinate, and support placement of content for electronic media, including TV, radio, multimedia, and new media platforms for new and existing m-pesa products and launches.
· Conceptualise and design creatives for all m-pesa campaigns.
· Project manage the creative, layout and content of below-the-line and above-the-line campaign and advertising material.
           · Plan and oversee rollout of m-pesa campaigns and product launches in the market, across the network in stores and the        retail environment in consultation with M-pesa, Sales & Distribution and Customer Operations business units.

Chief of Party - South Africa, GCBS


Pact seeks a Chief of Party for a five-year, multi-million dollar USAID-funded contract focusing on strengthening the Department of Social Development’s (DSD) response in addressing the social and structural barriers that increase the vulnerability of OVC to HIV, STI and TB and address specific constraints hampering the health and social welfare system to achieve better outcomes for OVC and other vulnerable children. The COP provides overall leadership and management of the project and serves as the principal institutional liaison to USAID. The initial appointment will be for a period of two years, pending availability of donor funding.
Specific Responsibilities •Overall management and leadership to the program
•Principal liaison with USAID and South African Government
•Oversee partnerships with South African Government and international and local partners
•Fulfill program requirements as per the contract, including all financial and technical deliverables
•Lead strategic, financial, and operational planning for GCBS project
•Make decisions and solve problems efficiently while ensuring operational and program integrity
•Provide direct line management support and supervision to technical and operations team of seasoned development professionals
•Ensure efficient systems to support all aspects of the program, including system strengthening, capacity building, data for decision making, and research

Education and Experience Requirements •Master’s degree in management, international development, macroeconomics, public health policy, development finance, economic policy, social sector applied economics, or a related field. Additional years of experience in lieu of a master’s degree is accepted.
•10 years of relevant development country experience in planning, managing, leadership and decision making of similar highly complex programs
•Five years of relevant experience in managing and coordinating complex development programs, preferably in South Africa
•Five years of experience as a Chief of Party/Director and/or Deputy Chief of Party or Deputy Director of a large development program of equivalent size and scope, preferably in South Africa
•South Africa experience required
•Management of a USG cooperative agreement or contract, of which at least five years shall have been in senior program management role, including professional and support staff supervision
•Experience interacting with developing country government and/or senior level government officials and/or international organizations. Experience working in partnership with the South African Government preferred;

I.T Network System Administrator (Tier 3)
Role Overview
The IT Officer will support the IT Manager to provide IT services needed to realise OSISA's vision. S/he will support the development and implementation of the IT strategy and policies within OSISA and its country offices. S/he will contribute to and support the effective functioning of OSISA's IT infrastructure, management systems and information management tools. He/she will assist the IT Manager to manage the IT unit and ensure that all complex IT related issues are resolved and all OSISA staff have reliable and secure access to IT services and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
User Support Operations
· Provide technical guidance, support and training to OSISA staff
· Implement desktop security strategy and user security awareness training
· Implement desktop support strategy to improve overall technical support efficiency and effectiveness for local and remote offices technical support operation
· Develop Scope of Work and manage outside consultant to provide user support services for other OSISA country offices
Telecommunication Support Operations
· Responsible for desk phones, mobile phones and administration for all OSISA Regional Offices
· Research and develop new telecommunication hardware and software standards to improve office communication and remote access efficiency and in line with industry standards
· Responsible for supporting Polycom audio/video conference technical event setup, and new technology implementation
· Monitor OSISA internetworking utilization and availability to ensure uninterrupted network operation
Network, Backend Server and CLOUD Support Operations
· Monitor local area network and backend server operation to develop performance baseline for future project planning and develop proactive support planning to improve service quality and reliability
· Monitor network and server security log and implement security strategy to protect from internal and external security breach and infection
· Maintain Security Firewall to ensure network perimeter security, enforce software application vulnerability protection and overall network, server, desktop and laptop security management
· Responsible for data backup and recovery, implement disaster recovery and business continuity plan to ensure data integrity and backup redundancy
· Administrate Microsoft Windows domain security and design, Grant Management System application server administration
· Research and develop new hardware and software technology to be in line with industry standard and OSISA business goals
· Work with Cloud application vendor to provide administration support, conduct performance and SLA review.
Information Systems Management
· Oversee the procurement, deployment and maintenance of computer hardware and software including fixed asset management
· Manage project schedules and budgets. The scope of the work includes all tasks from conception of projects to final implementation
· Provide Information Systems recommendation on network, server, Cloud and telecommunication standards and guidelines
· Conduct periodic Information Systems assessments and provide reports to management for goal setting and improvements
· Responsible for Information Systems contract reviews and consultant interviews and write up Scope of Work for special project implementation and support operation and manage external IT consultants.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
· Experience in managing end-to-end IT (servers, networks, voice and desktop)

  • Support country-level marketing teams in the development of marketing strategies and annual activity plans related to both products and services, assuring alignment with PSI's Global Marketing strategy, donor commitments, and market conditions;
  • Support marketing aspects of regional strategic initiatives including regional brand development and condom and family planning social enterprises;
  • Support country programs to evolve social franchise models by improving overall business franchise management for sustained health impact;
  • Contribute towards driving greater financial sustainability through supporting cost recovery initiatives in the region;
  • Identify and support opportunities for regional efficiencies particularly related to product manufacturing, procurement, sales and distribution and consumer insight and marketing;
  • Coordinate with other Global Services departments including Research, Evidence, HIV/TB and other health departments to assure appropriate technical support and alignment are embedded in program and proposal development, marketing strategy and execution at the country level;
  • Promote effective relations and institutional management between marketing and evidence departments of network members in Southern Africa;
