The bi-national Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP), of the Kingdom of Lesotho (KOL) and the Republic of South Africa (RSA) is aimed at harnessing the water resources of the highlands of Lesotho for the mutual advantage of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa.
The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) was set up to implement and operate that part of the LHWP that falls within the borders of Lesotho. LHDA is to embark on Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP), a multi-billion-rand Phase involving large scale civil engineering and socio-environmental aspects. Secretary

To assist the Branch Manager by ensuring the provision of effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support services and any other related responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned from time to time.. Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Office Practice, with at least five (5) years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
Essential Requirements for the Post:
Relevant experience and knowledge of computer programs e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint; secretarial and good communication skills; deportment; and good telephone manners. A certificate of 50 wpm or more typing.
Website Developer/Data Analyst

To enable communication with internal and external stakeholders by designing and maintaining the LHWP website, intranet and collaboration platforms, as well as online procurement processes and other web based systems Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Information Systems/informatics) or BSC (Computer Science/Informatics) plus 3 years of experience, with a solid background in developing small to medium scale real/practical websites and a solid experience in data analysis and reporting.

Land Surveyor (1)
Key Result Areas:
Land surveys prepared and approved accurately, in a timely manner and to specification as laid out in the Chief Surveyor’s Instructions and that they adhere to the Land Survey Act
Cadastral maps and DCDB kept up-to-date
Survey control data provided to users quickly
Smooth operation of Continuous Operating Reference Stations (CORS)
Effective supervision of Survey Assistants and technicians
Survey Assistant (1)
Key Result Areas:
Timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks, including field measurements, construction and maintenance of survey marks, and office data entry tasks
Effective communication with other Survey Services staff

Ensure that surveying equipment is in a working condition
Qualifications/Knowledge:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying

Nursing Assistant Wanted at PSI Lesotho
SUMMARY: VODAFONE PROJECT
The Vodafone Foundation funds and manages projects using mobile communication technologies to address some of the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges and to enhance people’s quality of life under its Mobile for Good programme. The Foundation achieves this objective by using its privileged access to Vodafone/Vodacom networks, technology, customers and employees to empower people with the necessary tools to make a difference in the world.
The purpose of the position is to ensure provision of high quality HTC and vital signs especially children less than five years through index tracking and testing and community based testing of children at high risk.
The placement of these positions will be determined by the scope of work at any given time and may change from district to district. The positions report directly to the Nurse.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct pre and post-test HTC counseling sessions as per counseling protocols
Provide supportive counseling to HTC clients
Under the supervision of a nurse conduct vital signs monitoring, weight and height, TB screening, STI screening and blood glucose monitoring.
Assists clients in the selection of appropriate community support through referrals
Data entry of confidential client information
Participate in client satisfaction surveys, as requested by Supervisor
Participate in the QC and QA program related to HIV testing and Counseling as directed by the National Laboratory.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Certificate in Nursing with experience in HIV testing and counselling.
Work experience in MCH services including PMTCT and Pediatric HIV/AIDS.
Currently Listed with the Lesotho Nursing Council
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Ability to work according to PSI Lesotho Prime competencies
Demonstrate knowledge of health and social services sector
Understanding of reproductive health issues, especially HIV/AIDS
Demonstrated ability to work sensitively and compassionately with a diverse range of clients, including highly marginalized and stigmatized populations

Office Assistant (Cleaner)
SUMMARY:
Under the TARGET project, the incumbent will provide basic cleaning duties This position is based in Maseru and reports directly to the CITC Coordinator.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cleans offices, kitchen, toilets and surrounding areas.
Cleans the warehouse at least once a month.
Cleans the PSI rented houses as required (e.g. before a new expatriate moves in)
Prepares tea and refreshments for guests and visitors and for employees when necessary
Maintains paper stock in bathrooms (e.g. paper towels, toilet paper, soap etc)
Sweeps, vacuums and shampoos carpets, mops floor of the offices and reception area.
Turns out lights and other pertinent electrical equipment and appliances at the end of the day.
Reports burned out light bulbs, plumbing and other maintenance problems.
Office supply and equipment replenishment
Acts as a Receptionist when necessary.
Clean the photocopiers and printer area regularly
Ensure that the work area is clean and without unused furniture sitting around
