COUNCIL ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHE) VACANCY- ACCOUNTANT

Job Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Accountant at the Council on Higher Education (CHE).

Job Summary: 

Under the direct supervision of the Head- Finance, the Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly accounts and assisting Head- Finance in the preparation of annual accounts to ensure that accounting processes are carried out in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification or equivalent

Experience: At least 3 years related work experience

Key competencies:
Knowledge of accounting and auditing rules and standards
Analytical skills
Ability to deal with figures and to use appropriate computer applications
Familiarity with computerized accounting systems preferably pastel
Attention to detail
