Lesotho Funeral Services is looking for dynamic candidates to fill the position of Human Resource Officer.
Job summary
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for administration of day-to-day operation of the human resources functions and duties.
Roles and responsibilities
• Recruiting and staffing logistics;
• Performance management and improvement tracking systems;
• Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
• Assisting with employee relations issues;
• Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting;
• Maintaining employee files and Human Resources filing system;
Required skills, knowledge and characteristics
• Strong effective communicator
• Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
• Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality
• Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and employee relations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Public Administration or equivalent qualification with at least two years working experience on the same field
Computer literacy is essential
