POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Driver

Reports to: Senior Driver 

Location: Leribe

OVERALL JOB FUNCTION: Transporting staff members and ICAP delegates throughout the sites of operation for the International Centre for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP) and carrying out designated errands.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Driving ICAP vehicles for work related purposes
• Delivering mail to and from ICAP offices
• Delivering staff and other dignitaries to different destinations for work related purposes
• Ensuring good condition of vehicles by undertaking daily, weekly and monthly checks
• Maintain passenger confidence by keeping information strictly confidential
• Taking vehicles to the garage for minor and major services when they fall due
• Maintaining cleanliness of ICAP vehicles
• Maintaining vehicles’ log books

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES:

C.O.S.C plus five (5) years driving experience.
Defensive driving certificate will be an added advantage
Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Having worked with NGOs, Private and International Organizations will be an added advantage.
