candidate to fill the vacant position of Manager IT Infrastructure.

JOB PURPOSE:
The primary purpose is to manage all ICT infrastructure and facilities within the Bank, and guarantee
maximum uptime and optimal performance. Equally, this role will safeguard the Bank’s information assets by
implementing best practices in information security and risk management.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development and implementation of IT management framework
• Management of information security
• Acquisition and management of datacentre infrastructure and facilities
• Management of the entire LPB data network
• Deployment and management of electronic banking distribution channels infrastructure
• Management of the end-user and mobile computing environment
• Management of IT services through a helpdesk
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent
OR Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology,
Engineering, Technology Management or equivalent
• Minimum: three (3)years experience in a business or corporate environment in a network support and/or
systems administration role OR two (2) years experience managing an IT support function or information
security would be an added advantage
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Minimum:Professional training in networks, information security, and/or service management
• Ideal:Professional training and/or certification in ITIL, CISM, CISCO networks, datacentre management, etc
• System administration, especially Unix/Linux and Windows
• Practical knowledge of cryptography, network and information security standards
• Data-centre management
• Understanding of business applications including electronic transacting systems
• Understanding of service management principles or ITIL
• IT governance and risk management
• IT project management

• Leadership, Professional, Attention to details, Accountability, Good Communication, Relationship
management and negotiation, Teamwork, Business acumen, Problem solver, Decision maker, Results
oriented.
