Seshoeshoe Productions (Pty) Ltd is looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for some of the outlined tasks below.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
The Role and Position of an OPERATIONS MANAGER in this area entails the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Preside over the production of goods.
• Analyze and reduce costs.
• Order appropriate materials.
• Ensure production is met on timely basis with targets met.
• Ensure Test machines for repairs and malfunctions are done by appropriate personnel on a timely basis.
• Set and meet production goals.
• Monitor product standards.
• Coordinate with different departments in the factory.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency.
• Work with the financial departments to come up with a budget and spending plan.
• Manage communication lines with factory managers.
• Develop production schedules and duty assignments

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS;
Industrial clothing technology OR fashion and textiles management; fashion and clothing technology OR Advanced Accounting Qualification.
• knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
• knowledge of raw materials
• knowledge of quality systems and standards
• Working knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
• knowledge of process improvement techniques
• knowledge of management principles
• knowledge of human resource principles and practices
• solid computer skills
• good problem solving skills
• two years’ experience working in a multi-purpose factory
