The Section Head, Procurement is responsible to formulate approach towards all sourcing and tendering activities of the Bank, ultimately ensuring that value for money is maximized and cost saving is generated.
Areas of Responsibility include:
Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre – qualification, tender management and budgetary issues in supply chain management.
Candidate will have to:
Undertake administrative tasks of the section.
Working with suppliers to ensure sound procurement processes take place.
Coordinate and manage activities of Tender Committee.
Prepare and maintain suitable supplier database information and protocol for ongoing supply chain management.
Formulate, harmonize and maintain purchasing policies and manuals for the
Provide active benchmark king data to ensure the Bank achieves continued value across the supply chain.
Negotiate contract with suppliers to maintain best price and service.
Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
Prepare periodic report of the Section.
