Background

Enterprise Content Management(ECM) is a formalized means of organizing and storing an organization's documents, and other content, that relate to the organization's processes. The term encompasses strategies, methods, and tools used throughout the lifecycle of the content.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under overall guidance of the ECM Senior Project Manager, the Consultant will work directly with thePrivate Fundraising and PartnershipsDivision(PFP)and the Public Partnerships Division(PPD)to assess how the current Funding Marketplace platform technology can potentially be leveraged across UNICEF and other business centres.This will include:
- Gather requirements from key stakeholders in PFP and relevant developers of the application to document the underlying technology of The Funding Marketplace with regard to content production, work flow processes, and rendition of outputs.
- Gather requirements from key stakeholders in PPD,FRG and DRP with regard to the business need for content management solutions for broader reporting needs, and specifically assess the opportunity to use the current platform for other business purposes including the ECM project.
- Conduct a cost-benefit analysis focused on the feasibility and sustainability of the current solution for other business purposes.
- Analyse and interpret requirements for their viability against the business objective.
- Create a requirement specifications document that captures the opportunities for adapting the current solution for other business purposes.
- Gain requirements sign-off from the key stakeholders by making sure all of them are on the same level of understanding against the requirements and then getting a written approval from them on the requirements to be developed.
