The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Senior Lecturer:
- A Doctoral Degree in Pure Mathematics.
- At least three (3) years of University teaching experience.
- A notable record of research publications in reputable journals, which are accessible through internet.
- Applicant should be a Senior Lecturer at the current occupation.
Lecturer:
- M. Sc. Degree in Pure Mathematics.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at a tertiary level.
A local applicant with a Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics inclined to pursue M.Sc. and Ph.D in Pure Mathematics may be considered.
Duties:
- Undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Initiate and /or participate in research programmes and program development within the department.
- Perform other duties, including administrative, as would be required by the department.
The successful candidate will be expected to assume duty on 1st August 2016.

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and contract for Non-Locals.
