The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
The minimum requirements for this position is a Doctoral Degree in Organic Chemistry, with considerable experience of university teaching and a very good record of research publications in reputable journals, which are accessible through internet. Applicants are advised that, the University does not promote on appointment, as such the applicant should at least hold the position for which they are applying.
Applicants who wish to spend at least one (1) year on sabbatical leave may be considered.
Duties:
- Undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Initiate and/or participate in research programmes and program development within the department.
- Perform any other duties, including administrative, as would be required by the department.
The successful candidate will be expected to resume duty on 01 July 2016.

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type:
This position is permanent and pensionable for locals and it is for a minimum of two years contract renewal upon satisfactory performance for non-locals.
