The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF EDUCATION:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
The applicant must hold a minimum of Masters Degree in English Literature Education and further be strong on issues of curriculum and instruction. A Ph.D and teaching experience (especially at tertiary level) would be preferred including a proven record of research and publications. Applicants with English Language Education with background in Literature in English are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
- A successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach relevant courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels,
- Supervise teaching practice and students’ research projects including masters dissertations;
- Undertake research and publish in the area of specialization, and
- Perform any other duties as would be required by the department.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type:
The post is on contract for a period of two years.
