The Wits Business School (WBS) is internationally recognised and accredited. It has spearheaded innovation, teaching and research excellence in South African and African business for over 45 years. The School is based in the economic hub of South Africa and is in easy proximity of the country’s most vibrant cities. Our faculty come from 12 different countries, are predominantly African, but are also from the US, UK and Germany. 95% of our full-time faculty are PhD qualified, and the majority of our full professors are NRF-rated researchers.
We have around 1 100 postgraduate students each year and significantly more executive education delegates. The School hosts regular media events and topical debates which include opinion leaders from both business and academia.
Wits Business School’s academics work exclusively with postgraduate students and senior executives. They deliver highly-rated learning, higher degree supervision, accredited research, and opinion leadership on business critical issues. WBS values both academic AND business leadership credentials.
Therefore, candidates with a consistent track record in high profile business leadership roles are encouraged to apply for the Adjunct Professorship role.
Preference would be given to black South African candidates.
