SPW South Africa Trust (also known as Restless Development South Africa) is a leading, youth-led development agency. We have been supporting youth programming in South Africa for over 15 years, engaging and supporting communities, government stakeholders and young people themselves to address their sexual and reproductive health needs. We engage young people in active dialogue with government institutions and we reach out to young people in the most rural and marginalised communities, placing young people at the forefront of change and development. Our programming is focused on three key areas of young people’s lives: livelihoods and employment; sexual and reproductive health; and civic participation. 
As part of a new grant funded by the Big Lottery Fund, Restless Development South Africa is recruiting aProgramme Quality Coordinator as part of our Youth Leaders, Today not Tomorrow! Project. The Project is a 3 year programme, operating within the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
We are seeking a talented and committed Programme Quality Coordinator to ensure the efficient monitoring, reporting and evaluation of all programmes. The Coordinator will lead on the design and implementation of the reporting framework and monitoring systems ensuring that all internal and external commitments are met.
The main duties required include:
  • Coordinate the development of appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems, indicators and tools for all interventions led by Restless Development South Africa
  • Oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems and tools
  • Oversee and lead research and evaluation processes for all interventions – including baseline, mid-line and end-line reporting
  • Disseminate findings both internally and externally, compiling specific reports on the findings and assisting in the writing of donor reports and Monthly Progress Reports and Quarterly National reporting
  • To build the capacity of programme staff and volunteers to implement monitoring and evaluation systems, data management and analysis for their reporting
  • To contribute to the development of Restless Development South Africa and its programmes
