Call for Submission of Nominee Representing Consultancy Companies in the
Grid Code Review Panel

The Lesotho Grid Code, a document that sets out amongst others, the technical
requirements and standards for the planning, connection to, operation and protection of
the Lesotho transmission system, was approved by the Lesotho Electricity and Water
Authority (LEWA) and became effective as a formal document for use by and guidance
of the electricity supply industry (ESI) players, on the 1st October 2015.

The Governance Code, one of the eight (8) Codes within the Grid Code provides details
on the constitution of a Grid Code Review Panel (Panel). This Panel is entrusted with,
amongst others, keeping the Grid Code and its implementation under continuous scrutiny
and review. As per the prescribed setup of the Panel, Consultancy Companies shall
have one representative in the Panel.

LEWA therefore calls upon all ESI consultancy companies registered in the Kingdom of
Lesotho to collectively nominate one representative to the Panel and submit his/her
name to LEWA with a detailed curriculum vitae. The nominee shall have relevant
technical skills and his/her membership into the Panel shall be subject to approval by
LEWA.
