JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN DUTIES
The ICT Data Controller mandate is to provide significant technical support to all Enumerators and Supervisors in all the districts during Population and Housing Census data collection. He/She will be based in the district until data collection has been completed. He/She will work closely with the Data Processing team for proper technical management of data collection and
processing. In this regard, He/she must carry out the following activities:
• Maintenance of computer equipment and data collection devices in the districts during data collection
•Liaises with the application developers for data collection devices
updates during data collection
•Training supervisors on data transfer to the central servers at the BOS headquarters.
•Providing support to Supervisors on data transfer during data collection.
•Monitoring all data transfers to the central servers at the BOS
headquarters.
•Managing all census IT asset in the districts.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / related subject.
Other relevant Knowledge/skills:
•Strong background on Windows operating Systems;
•Knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN;
•Knowledge of SQL Server database;
•Professional integrity and the ability to work in a team and under pressure;
•Be available immediately.

Responsible to: Financial Controller
Duration: 6 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN DUTIES
Under the direct supervision of the Financial Controller, the candidate will be responsible for:
•Preparing financial statements/reports.
•Controlling commitments and expenditures.
•Scrutinizing departmental returns.
•Assisting in the preparation of authorization requests for the department
•Balancing and banking each day’s collection the next day.
•Preparing bank reconciliation statement on monthly basis.
•Ensuring that the Ministry’s vote book transactions are reconciled with Treasury financial reports.
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Accounting / General Accountant
Job title: Assistant Human Resource Officer
Grade: F
No. of Positions : 15
Responsible to: Human Resources Officer
Duration: 4 Months
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of Human Resources Officer, the incumbent implements Human Resources guidelines, processes and procedures to ensure smooth Human Resource activities.
MAIN DUTIES
1. Recruitment and Selection
1.1. Verifies vacant positions in accordance with manpower plan
1.2. Arranges funding of positions to enable filling in line with operational needs.
1.3. Prepares appropriate documentation to advertise the positions.
1.4. Screens applications and draws shortlist.
2. Handles administration of salaries and benefits
2.1. Checks the payroll to determine appropriateness of salaries.
2.2. Administers effective payment of allowances and benefits.
3. Processes Human Resource Management Decision.
3.1. Drafts proposals to take action on Human Resource Management decisions.
3.2. Processes submissions in accordance with established HR procedures.
3.3. Organizes activities relating to staff welfare, health and safety in the workplace. and social responsibility.
