• Hand welding by mechanically fed electrodes or preliminary welding or welding in fixtures (and completion of weld when removed from fixture.)

• Fabricating, modification and/or rectification of steelwork.
• At least 10 years industrial mineral processing construction experience
• Proficiency in working with angle grinders and arc welders
• Experience with power-span cable racking and making of brackets is required.

Mechanical)
• Portable electrical equipment training
• Repetition work on semi-automatic or single purpose machines or equipment, including adjustment of material or tools within clearly defined limits.
• Assembles components using basic written, spoken and/ or diagrammatic instruction in a mass production assembly environment, including mechanical adjustment and the identification of parts and their locations.
• Operation of pre-set machines, including random checking with fixed gauges and replacement of tipped tooling.
• The use of measurement equipment.
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• At least 3 years industrial mineral processing construction experience

• Identify safety training needs, organize and co-ordinate safety training courses and prepare training material where appropriate
• Co-ordinate the monthly safety meetings
• Assist in appointment of safety representatives for all departments
• Communicate changes in Safety and Environment legislation to
Management
• Liaise with on site contractors to ensure their compliance with Company safety regulations and adherence to safety standards, including basic safety induction training
• Conduct surveys and audits as required to identify and minimize the risk to company and employees
