JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Nursing Sister will be responsible for effective and efficient implementation of the clinic activities. Nursing Sister will ensure that activities done in the clinic conform to the required standards and that no activities undermining the image of LPPA are performed.

JOB SUMMARY

Nursing Sister will ensure that activities done in the clinic conform to the required standards and that no activities undermining the image of LPPA are performed.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements the clinical aspects of the Clinic.
Keeps and maintains records of drugs, equipment and contraceptives used in the clinic.
Provides counseling to clients and dispense appropriate drugs to clients.
Undertakes monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reporting of the clinic activities and will submit these to the Senior Nurse.
Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisor and which fall within the purview of the duties and responsibilities expected of the Nursing Sister.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Qualified Nurse/Midwife with at least three years post qualification experience.
Clinical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of SRH and HIV and AIDS. HTC training will be an added advantage.
NGOs experience is an added advantage
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and commitment to Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Maintenance of high professional and nursing ethical standards.
Thorough knowledge of contraceptives management and counseling.
Basic knowledge of record keeping.
Ability to mobilize communities.
Computer Literate.
