Technical Sales and Service Representative
The role
To contribute to the fulfillment of the agreed upon sales for this department and thereby contributing to the achievements of the financial goals of Rock Tools by:
- Initiating new sales with current and new customers;
- Facilitating the process of drawing up supply agreements, monitoring of such agreements to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction;
- Customer relationship management;
- Supporting new and existing customers with technical knowledge on existing as well as new products and methods;
- Manage labour and contractual requirements on CPM contracts under his/her control
Your profile
- Grade 12
- 5 years experience in mining environment - exposure to rock tools will be advantageous
- Proven competence in basic computer literacy
- Microsoft Office applications
- Product knowledge and its application
- Sales and customer relationship management experience
- Must be willing to travel
- Communication skills
- People skills
- Negotiation skills
- The following requirements will be advantageous
- Technical Sales (3 to 4 years experience)
- Blasting certificates
- Qualified Artisan
- Red Ticket
