Job Purpose
To provide analytical, research and administrative support to the PBB Head Lesotho and PBB MANCO
Lead and/or participate in strategic PBB projects and coordinate all forums, presentations to various committees including MANCO, EXCO, CE and Centre
To provide efficient and technically proficient administrative support function to PBB
To support Head: PBB and the PBB MANCO by enabling operational effectiveness of PBB
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Assist with formulating and articulation of business strategy for PBB Lesotho
Implement the above business strategies together with PBB Head and PBB MANCO. work with the local MANCO to ensure quality and timely submissions of monthly CE Reports and Centre Reports. Periodically track country performance against plans, and propose measures to address risks and challenges.
Track, double-check and as the case may be challenge financial performance within PBB SLB.
Analyze financials, MIS, incoming documentation (as required) and highlight key matters/issues/requirements to the PBB Head and relevant MANCO members
Produce the performance level alysis needed to assist Monthly performance reviews.
Participate in and/or lead projects on behalf of PBB Lesotho (this may require “MISSIONS” in-country to solve issues)
Participate in business forums hat require PBB representation, as mandated/required by the PBB Head Lesotho.
Generate good understanding of the PBB business model. Will gain exposure to senior levels.
Undertake quarterly analysis of income trends on top 50 revenue earners to ensure that any reduction in business flows from these names are identified early and investigated by the respective MANCO members
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Degree in Commerce, Business Economics or Finance or Equivalent
Three to five years management experience in FINANCE or Similar Position
An understanding of he “business model” in PBB
Working experience in African markets
Working experience in a client facing role and senior management presentation
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
Articulate, strong analytical skills, strong presentation
skills,
Team worker, flexible (travel, working hours), ambitious.
Knowledge of the key areas in PBB
