This role of Team Administrator in the Finance Team at ActionAid International is just the opportunity you are looking for. We support people living in poverty to claim their rights, by directly challenging the systems and structures that keep people poor and by supporting Action Aid programmes with resources and capacity. We want you to work to provide executive assistant support to our Finance and IT Direcor and other team members..
As a Team Administrator you will manage logistics for our Finance and IT Director from overseeing the diary and scheduling meetings to handling correspondence and coordinating travel arrangements. You will act as a first point of contact for the office, prioritise requests and oversee information flow to maximise effectiveness. We will look to you to prepare meetings, take minutes and circulate notes and actions to stakeholders. You will also help Finance Team members with a range of general admin duties from preparing regular reporting and updating systems to processing invoices and assisting with desk based research. We will look to you to help ensure the office and team runs smoothly.
You’ll be the kind of person who keeps calm under pressure and has extensive experience of providing office & senior level executive support. Naturally good with people, you will have a good standard of English, well developed communication, admin and IT skills coupled with an eye for detail. You will have a good understanding of telecommunications and be comfortable using tele/video conferencing tools. Excellent at multitasking and will also be a strong team player who is able take the initiative and prioritise work- loads when needed. Experience gained in the NGO sector would be an advantage
