Job Title: Logistics/Administration Assistant
Programme Information: The NGO which operates in Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia with its headquarters in Switzerland. In Lesotho, the organization works in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and CHAL on HIV, MCH and Hospital Support Projects in the districts of Thaba-Tseka
and Butha-Buthe

Place of Assignment: Maseru District (The position includes frequent dislocations to project sites in Thaba-Tseka and Butha-Buthe)

Summary Key Tasks
• Oversee the use and maintenance of the SolidarMed Fleet
• Oversee any infrastructure renovation or construction work funded by the organization
• Ensure the maintenance of SolidarMed’s assets including IT
• Manage SolidarMed inventory and procurement for all projects
• Oversee the use and maintenance of the SolidarMed Fleet

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum diploma in Business Management or Public Administration or similar field
• Minimum two years working experience in a similar fi eld. Having
worked with a local or international NGO will be to an applicant’s
advantage
• A valid code B drivers licence having held it for a minimum of two years driving a manual system vehicle
• We are looking for a hard-working, pro-active and very hands-on
person, with knowledge in Lesotho tendering procedures, basic
technical knowledge in vehicle maintenance, sound computer literacy, communication skills , negotiation skills and report writing skills
