JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTING TO: Nurse-In-Charge & Administrator (NICA)
JOB PURPOSE
The Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for provision of clerical, procurement, bookkeeping and administrative support to in order to ensure that the services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the policy & procedures.
- Manage Petty Cash in accordance to the policy & procedures.
- Assist in proper bookkeeping.
- Receive cash sales and maintain proper records.
- Maintain asset register and office inventories in accordance to the policy & procedures.
- Maintain a proper fi ling system.
- Receive and direct telephone and e-mail messages.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
- Responsible for printing and photocopying of documents.
- Perform any other related activity as may be necessary from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- A tertiary level qualification in Administration and Accounting/Finance.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in the same or similar position.

- Time Management skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer skills particularly in Word Processing, excel and internet.
