The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Finance Officer.
Under the supervision of the Head of Finance of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency or his/her delegate, the Finance Officer will be responsible for grants management in line with the Financial Rules and Regulations of the African Union and the decisions, policies and management procedures established by the NEPAD Agency.

Education and Experience:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Financial Management or Commerce. A professional qualification in Accounting such as CPA, CA, ACCA and CIMA or equivalent will be an added advantage. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Financial Management, or Auditing, of which at least 3 years should be at similar position in a public sector institution or preferably an international organisation.

Remuneration: Indicative basic salary of US$29,287.00 per annum plus other entitlements e.g. Post Adjustment (57% of basic salary), Housing allowance ($21,196.80 per annum), Pension (19% of basic salary) in conformity with the rules and procedures applicable to internationally recruited staff of the African Union.
