Automation Specialist
The role:
The purpose of vthe role is to travel in the field, visit sites, provide technical support to performance contracts and field service technicians when they cannot solve a problem, solve complex technical problems experienced in the field, run tests and trials as well as machine modifications as per product company bulletins. The incumbent has to support in setting up and maintaining new Automation projects like Automine, Automine Lite and Optimine and assist and help the customer on product related queries.
Your profile:
- Trade certificate as an Electrician,
- Flame proofing and gas testing qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience working with Underground Mining equipment,
- Experience with Sandvik control systems (EPEC),
- Experience with CAN bus, knowledge of CAN bus systems and other industry buses,
- English proficiency,
- Willingness to travel overseas
- A valid drivers' license is essential
