Logistics & Quality Supervisor
The role
The purpose of the role is to manage logistics and inventory in order to maintain safe operations and support the Maintenance Manager with ensuring compliance to Sandvik and mine standards whilst maintaining quality products and services through:
  • Effective logistics
  • Cost effectiveness
  • Strict adherence to project time frames
  • Effective subordinates
  • Safety, Health & Environmental Effectiveness
  • Effective Customer Relations
This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology clients (internal and external) on and off mine site according to Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and performance contract requirements.
Your profile
  • Relevant post trade qualification
  • At least 5 years Warehouse experience
  • At least 3 years Supervisory experience
  • SSDP (Supervisory Safety Development Program)
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Sandvik Databases (advantageous)
  • Experience in mining environment (advantageous)
  • English proficiency
  • First Aid Level 1
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Physical & Medical ability to function in an underground mining environment
  • May be required to travel
