UNDP in Lesotho is contracting Administrative Clerk

Under the supervision of the Assistant Resident Representative (O), the Administrative Clerk provides travel related services in a large Country Office ensuring high quality and accuracy of work in order to obtain the optimum travel services. He/she implements the rules and guidelines regarding travel and
entitlements and provides solutions to issues related to travel. The Travel and Administrative Clerk promotes a collaborative, client-focused, quality and results-oriented approach in the delivery of travel, assets, human resource and admin services.
The Administrative Clerk works in close collaboration Management Support and Business Development, Programme and Operations teams in the CO to ensure consistent service delivery.
Summary of key functions:
Provision of travel services
Support to implementation of HR services
Support to asset management
Provision of administrative and logistical support
Support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing
VI. Recruitment Qualifications
Education: Secondary Education, preferably with specialized certification in Business Administration or Procurement. University Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration, procurement or other related field would be desirable, but it is not a requirement.
Experience: 4 years of relevant administrative experience in the areas of Travel Services, HR, Asset Management and Administration. Experience in the usage of computers
and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of automated procurement systems, experience in handling of web based management systems.
Language
Requirements: Fluency in English and Sesotho
