Regional Fleet Manager – Pretoria and Cape Town

My client is seeking to employ Regional Fleet Managers for their Cape Town and Pretoria offices to oversee all aspects of the company as well as any leased fleet and is responsible for coordinating all mechanical and equipment repairs and services for the fleet
Details
Responsibilities:
  • Fleet Management
  • Responsible to manage breakdown and accident response and timelines as per the SLA
  • Responsible to ensure that vehicle quality standards are consistently maintained in accordance SLA with Regulatory Standards and with DQSP requirements
  • Process and Regulatory Compliance
  • Responsible to ensure that assets are consistently compliant with all Company procedures
  • Adhoc Vehicle and Driver Management
  • Responsible to conduct monthly audit of fleet and report as per SLA
  • People Management
  • Responsible to ensure that expenditure is managed within budget
  • Equipment maintenance (Trucks and delivery equipment including Bulkheads and Shoring Bars)
  • Process, quality, service level and cost improvements are actively pursued
  • Health and safety
  • Administration and reporting
Requirements:
  • Matric or equivalent
  • Good mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge with training and/or experience in below fields:
    • Carrier Refrigeration Systems
    • SkyJacks Taillift Systems
    • Mixtelematics Systems
    • Tyre Management
  • Good computer proficiency (Adept in all MS office applications)
  • Complete and up-to-date knowledge of road traffic regulations
  • At least five (5) years proven fleet management experience
  • EC License and PDP License
