RECRUITMENT
The Land Administration Authority invites applications from suitably qualified, competent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following vacant position within the organisation. This position is based in Maseru. It requires good spoken and written Sesotho and English. A competitive and market-related remuneration package including non-contributory benefits is offered. A brief description of the position is provided below.
Administration Manager (1)
Job Scope: The officer has responsibility for facilities management and procurement to support all LAA Divisions and Departments.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the Administration Department
• Oversee all procurement activities
• Manage all LAA facilities
• Assist in creating, monitoring and updating administration policies and procedures
Key Result Areas:
• Efficient, accurate and timely management and maintenance of assets
• Effective supervision of administrative staff
• Cost-effective, timely and correct procurement of goods and services
• Recommendations for improvements to organisational administration
Qualifications/Knowledge:
• Degree in administration, facilities management or other relevant discipline
• Knowledge of best practice in facilities management
• Knowledge or ability to rapidly obtain a working knowledge of LAA services and products
• Familiarity with procurement rules and procedures
Skills:
• Ability to write clear, concise reports
• Ability to communicate with, lead, supervise and mentor administration staff and external contractors
Experience:
• At least five (5) years experience in a similar role with a medium-size organisation, including at least two (2) years in a senior supervisory or management position

All shortlisted applicants will be informed as to the status of their applications (please provide an email address for this purpose). Applicants who do not hear from the Authority by 5th December 2014 may assume that their applications have not been successful.
