The Chief of Partywill oversee and guide all program activities implemented by World Vision Swaziland and implementing partners. S/he will serve as the primary point of contact to USAID, partners, Government of Swaziland at national and local levels, and other external parties. S/he must effectively manage relationships with the Government of Swaziland, World Vision Swaziland and implementing partner staff to establish and oversee all program activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensure program's strategic objectives and results are fully accomplished and meet expected technical quality standards, with key program staff and implementing partners.
- Ensure that vision and plans for the program are innovative and are in line with the approved program and World Vision Swaziland and country program strategies.
- Lead, manage and supervise program staff and implementing partner staff to meet program objectives. Conduct periodic reviews of staff performance in keeping with World Vision performance management system and mentor staff to ensure high levels of motivation, commitment, capacity, and teamwork.
- Manage program budgets, including tracking of financial and material resources. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program narrative, finances and progress status; review actual financial performance against the budget, and explain variances on a regular basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Science, Nursing.
- Five (5) years managing a health and HIV/AIDS program/project in an international NGO, preferably in a senior position. Management experience of USAID grants will be an added advantage.
- Trained in grants management and experience in drawing grant agreements with non-profit organizations.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining institutional linkages required.
- Demonstrated personal accountability and driven to serve others.
- Understanding of and experience with faith-based organizations, and capacity-building principles in local partnerships highly desired.
- Excellent English language oral and written communication skills required.
- Master’s degree in Public Health or equivalent in health related field. Working experience in community development.
