The Collaborative Capacities for Peace and Democratic Governance in Lesotho is a four year programme aimed to address systemic governance issues in Lesotho with the overall objective of “Democratic Governance and civil society institutions and processes strengthened to undertake peaceful resolution of disputes, deepening democratic governance, respect for human rights and active citizenship participation”.
Summary of key functions:
Lead project implementation (perform all Project Management functions)
Strategic advisory services related to the project areas
Support partner relations, resource mobilization
Facilitate knowledge building and knowledge

VI. Recruitment Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Governance, Public Administration, Political Science, Development Studies or other related Social Sciences.
Experience: At least five years of experience in advisory and project management work (or combination of these) in such areas as (a) peacebuilding or governance, (b) working with parliament, electoral management bodies and human rights institutions or alike (c) institutional analysis and design, development planning, project design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects/programmes.
