This position drives prompt collection of cash and past due reduction, ensuring customer invoices are correctly recorded and delivered. The collector also identifies payment bottlenecks and communicates same to internal stakeholders (operations, commercial teams) for timely and appropriate resolution. | |
Collections as per target set each quarter by region…continually work to improve processes. • Provide manual invoices as required • Ensure integrity of ILD and support audit process as necessary, including but not restricted to Customer circularization • Perform administrative duties related to collections – eg demand letters, customer balances and perform reconciliations and dispute/query resolution. • Support provision of analysis and reports related to customer balances and to enable cash flow forecasting and monetization needs. • Own and support operating mechanisms related to cash reporting/estimates within region and with HQ • General Admin support as required, including liaising with ES on behalf of assigned population | |
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other business related field & experience in cash collection and credit control, accounting or finance experience Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner & Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations & Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others & Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills & Experience working in a matrixed environment Preference will be given to EE candidates | |
