Retail Channels Manager

Main Duty:
Vodacom Lesotho is seeking a Retail Channels Manager to ensure effective day-today
running of the retail stores, including; planning & budgeting, implementing and
maintaining controls and regular review of business processes. The Manager will be
reporting to the Executive Head of Department Customer Operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
• Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning and forecasting future sales.
• Deal with staffing issues such as recruitment, performance management, succession
planning plus training and development.
• Manage the stores performance.
• Review of business processes, more especially those affecting customers.
• Managing projects e.g. new stores rollout, deployment of new retail technologies etc.
The successful candidate will be a Customer obsessed, flexible yet decisive, selfdiscipline,
reliant, motivated and goal driven person who has the ability to lead and
motivate others, is detail conscious and deadline driven and poses the following
qualities:
• Analytic and problem solving
• Change management principles
• Management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management fundamentals
• Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications:
• B. Comm Business Management or B. Comm Marketing and Management Science or
Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from a recognised institution
• At least 5 years retail, sales and/or customer service experience
• Formal customer service and/or call centre training is essential
• At least 3 years supervisory or management training/experience
• 5 years telecommunications experience will be an added advantage
