Fleet Controller

My client is seeking to employ Regional Fleet Controllers for their Cape Town and Pretoria offices who will be responsible for and oversee all aspects of the company as well as SR FML Fleet and is responsible for coordinating all mechanical and equipment repairs and services for the fleet

Details

Responsibilities: Receipting of daily vehicle check sheets from DC and for reporting on all routine maintenance needs Controlling the maintenance and repair of vehicles in the fleet Receipting of daily vehicle check sheets, recording of mileages and for reporting on all new damages and defects to the Transport Manager Responsible for daily vehicle uptime reporting and routine maintenance needs Receiving and recording daily fridge hours from daily vehicle check sheets Responsible for weekly vehicle and fridge and tail lift service schedule report Arranging vehicles  for service with service provider and DC Responsible for transfer and hand over of vehicles between DCs or to and from service providers; must manage all vehicle hand overs. Completion and signing off of vehicle check sheets on delivery and collection of vehicle Vehicle quality standards are consistently maintained in accordance with Road Traffic Regulations and DQSP requirements Responsible for tail lift load, fridge calibration certification Inspect and sign off all accident and breakdown repairs for quality assurance Responsible to obtain and maintain truck licensing and registrations Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet DQSP requirements and pass all transport quality audits Transport expenditure is managed within budget Monitor fleet budget, expenditure recording and assist with fleet program development Requirements: Matric or equivalent Five years Proven Fleet management experience Planning and budgeting Accurate reporting and administration PC Literate Technical  knowledge in Carrier Refrigeration, Vehicle lifting / Tail lift systems Tyre Management, Driver Training Valid Code 14 EC Drivers license essential PDP and PrDP, and up-to-date road traffic regulation knowledge If you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, please accept that your application has been unsuccessful Please send your CV to malanie@humancommunications.co.za
