Managing Director
GROW, a Lesotho registered Non-profit organization implementing community development
projects in the highlands of Lesotho, is seeking a dynamic and energetic person to lead the
organisation. The successful candidate will be an organised and flexible person, committed
to democratic and participatory approaches to management and human development.
GROW invites application from interested and suitably qualified individuals for the position
of Managing Director. The Managing Director is answerable to the Board of Directors and
is responsible for the overall direction and delivery of GROW programmes.
Experience
1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior management roles.
2. Experience working in non-governmental organisations
3. Proven project cycle management and fundraising experience.
4. Demonstrated supervision experience.
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in the Social Sciences, Development or other relevant
discipline with managerial experience of at least five years.
or
Master’s Degree in similar fields with 3 years’ experience.
Skills
1. Proficient in written and spoken English
2. Data analysis skills
3. Knowledge and ability to understand accounting data
4. Strong computer skills.
The position is based in Mokhotlong district, Lesotho.
