Senior Laboratory Superintendent /Technician – Maputsoe
The successful incumbent must be a highly motivated, passionate and self-driven individual who is looking for a challenge and willing to make a difference. The key responsibility of the successful incumbent would be to ensure efficient running and proper supervision of the laboratory.
Requirements:
• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar tertiary qualification
• Post-graduate management qualification will be advantageous
• 10 years’ experience in a laboratory environment where at least 4 years have been spent in a middle management position
• Knowledge of maize and wheat food industry environment
• Ability to effectively manage a unionised work place
• Understanding the operation of standardised grain testing equipment and general laboratory instruments
• Proficiency in wet and chemical analysis • Must be computer literate
• Competence in implementing and maintaining of the ISO 22000/ HACCP management systems
• Working knowledge of ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 Standards
• Performance and people management of staff
• Ensure staff comply with company policies, standards and procedures
• Risk Assessments
• Quality Assurance
• Data Management
• Managing Budgets
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Head Wheat Miller – Maputsoe
Must have 10 years wheat milling experience.
The successful incumbent must be a highly motivated, passionate and self-driven individual who is looking for a challenge and willing to make a difference. The key responsibility of the successful incumbent would be to ensure efficient running and proper supervision of the wheat mill.

• Formal milling qualification
• COSC Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Post-graduate management qualification will be advantageous
• 10 years’ experience in a wheat milling environment where at least 4 years have been spent in a middle management position
• Knowledge of maize and wheat food industry environment
• Ability to effectively manage a unionized work place
• Understanding the operations of STANDARDISED MILLING and standardised grain testing equipment and general laboratory instruments
