The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD in Plant Breeding with not less than ten years’ experience in teach
- Proven record in research and publishing in Plant Breeding and related areas.
- Teaching experience in Plant Breeding, Crop production and research methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated skill in developing and executing research proposals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Duties:
- Offering courses in the area of specialty and other crop science courses at BSc. and MSc levels.
- Expected to offer Field Practical Training.
- Supervise students’ projects at BSc and MSc levels.
- Initiate, conduct and supervise original research in his/her area of specialization.
- Contribute to departmental and faculty governance.

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non – Locals.
