Health and Safety Officer

G4S Cash and Secure Solutions (Lesotho), a leading global integrated cash and secure
solutions company have a vacancy for a Health and Safety Officer.
The purpose of the position is to ensure that all G4S activities within the country are carried out in
accordance with Lesotho health and safety legislative requirements and company standards. The
successful incumbent must have a proven track record in maintaining efficient health and safety
processes and will also be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.
Key Performance Areas
1. Develop and implement H&S Strategy for the Company Reviews and drives improvements
2. Review H&S policy and procedures for the company
3. H&S Compliance and incidents reporting
4. Monitor the OHS and Environment Management System
5. Provide support/training to departments and regions
Key Attributes and Competencies
Formal Education:
• COSC Certificate
• Relevant diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• At least 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety Officer position
• Computer Literate
• Valid Drivers’ License (Code 8)
Competencies:
Knowledge
• In depth knowledge of Lesotho
Health and Safety Legislation
• Risk Assessment and incident
reporting
