The Role
This role is accountable and responsible for the management and leadership of the Procurement and Project Controls Department which includes procurement, cost engineering and planning within Sandvik Mining Systems Africa by ensuring that the department outputs are aligned with the Sandvik Mining Strategy and Objectives.
- Develop and implement Procurement & Project Controls Strategy
- Manage Procurement & Project Controls Department (Procurement, Planning & Cost Engineering)
- Manager Procurement & Project Controls Human Resources
- Manage Procurement & Project Controls Budget
- Manage Client & Sub-Contractor Relationships
Your profile
- Grade 12
- English literacy
- Code 08 license
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification, B.Com or equivalent (suitably qualified as articulated in the Employment Act)
- Extensive experience in Client Contract Management
- Experience in Planning, Procurement and Cost Engineering in a Mining Bulk Materials Handling / Project Engineering business.
