ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT- GENERAL MAINTENANCE
PURPOSE: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Superintendent will manage the general Maintenance section comprising mainly the
Roads, Buildings, Vehicle fleet and the Water and Wastewater piping infrastructure around site at Letšeng Mine as well as the small civil
construction and renovation works.

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring compliance with all HSE programme requirements.
• Ensuring that the roads, fleet, buildings and water & wastewater
reticulation infrastructure are adequately maintained.
• Planning, coordination and implementation of small civil projects
and construction works around the site.
• Ensuring that engineering standards and manufacturers’
specifications are maintained on construction and maintenance
works
• Administering an effective planned maintenance system for the
assets being managed.
• Management of all sectional resources.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• BSc. or BTech. preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction
Management or related discipline
• Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence
• 5 Years’ experience as a Contract Manager or Foreman in a
construction environment or as a General Maintenance Supervisor
in camps.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates will be required to undergo a Medical Examination of
fitness as per requirements.
