DISPLAY CLERK
The Independent Electoral Commission invites applications from suitably qualified Basotho Candidates for the temporary position of Display Clerks for the coming Local Government Elections.
Job Description;
Responsible to Constituency Electoral Assistant.
1. To up date the Electors’ Register by performing the following duties:-
▪Ensure that each elector’s name is on the list and that it is spelled correctly.
▪Record all corrections to personal data such as age, date of birth and sex, if there are mistakes.
▪Verify that the registration number is correct.
▪Record objections to the names of persons who do not quality as electors, on the provisional list.
▪Make house –to- house visits for elector register verification and removal of deceased.
▪Request for change of Display Center because of change of residence or place of work of an elector.
▪Record names of the deceased to be removed from the Electors’ Register.
▪Verify match of personal data and photo.

1. Applicants will be recruited in the Electoral Division or Community Council concerned and MUST be registered as electors.

APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE COLLECTED FROM AND SUBMITTED TO THE CONSTITUENCY OFFICES ON OR BEFORE 25TH FEBRUARY 2016.
Successful candidates should check their names at district and constituency offices from 11th March 2016.
