1. CHINA SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2016
National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS) is informing
Basotho that The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of
China (MOFCOM) through The Embassy of the People’s Republic of
China has off ered 4 scholarships for Master’s program for 2-3 years or
PhD program for 3-4 years.
Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be citizens of Lesotho,
2. must be in good health,
3. be a Bachelor’s degree holder when applying for Master’s
program,
4. be a Master’s degree holder when applying Doctoral program,
5. be under the age of 45 when applying,
6. be offi cial of division level and above middle and senior
management staff in Government, University, Research
Institute, NGO and Media etc. Senior offi cials are preferred.
2. TURKEY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2016
Basotho are also informed that Turkey scholarships for 2016 are also
available for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs and the
closing date for the applications is 23rd March 2016. The scholarships
include both scholarship and placement at the same time.
